On the final Sunday of our current series, The Church The World Needs Now, we’ll gather in groups for various service projects across Cape. This is how we’ll worship that day—by showing up for our neighbors with love and purpose.

Advance • Tornado Clean Up
Where: Advance, MO – address TBD
What: Help a community member affected by the spring storms by repairing damage and cleaning up debris.
When: 11:00 AM
Parking Lot • Mobile Food Pantry
Where: Grace UMC, 521 Caruthers Ave.
What:We will be distributing food from the SEMO Foodbank to our neighbors in need. Have fun bagging and distributing food!
When: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm (or until food runs out)
Volunteers Needed: 10-12
Fellowship Hall • Peanut Butter Cups
Where: Grace UMC Fellowship Hall, 521 Caruthers Ave.
What: We’ll be assembling travel sized cups of peanut butter for Street Level, a local non-profit dedicated to serving our homeless neighbors.
When: 11:00 AM

Ratliff Care Center • Hymn Sing & Fellowship
Where: Ratliff Care Center, 717 Sprigg St., Cape
What: Join us for a time of singing beloved hymns and visiting with residents.
When: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Volunteers Needed: 12–15
Fellowship Hall • Goodies for Community Workers
Where: Fellowship Hall at Grace UMC, 521 Caruthers
What: We’ll be showing love to our first responder and essential worker neighbors by packaging goodies and delivering them to their workplaces.
When: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Fellowship Hall • Street Level Goody Bags
Where: Fellowship Hall
What: Shower our neighbors at Street Level with homemade goody bags and ice cream.
When: Drop off baked goods between 9:30-10:00
Assemble bags between 10:00-12:00
Deliver goods at 12:00-12:15
Volunteers Needed: 10-12
