Temps below 27, or 32 with precipitation
This winter, Grace UMC is hosting a warming center for our neighbors in need. It will be open 7 pm – 7 am on nights where the temperature is either below 27 degrees, or 32 degrees with precipitation. Each night, guests can get a hot meal, store their belongings in a safe location, and get a good night’s sleep in a warm cot. Sign up for one of the 4 hour shifts, or the meal train and bless our neighbors!
JAN-APR - The Disciple Bible Study

Kick off the new year with a study of the foundational beliefs and rich literature of the Old Testament!
Coming in January, we’ll start The Disciple Bible Study – a 12 week class focusing on the Old Testament. Stay tuned for registration details!

Central Middle Schools’ Family Math Night is about connecting people with the joy of math! We are going to host a table and need a team of people to plan a math themed activity, and connect with families while they’re there. Join the Mission Group to get involved!

Compass Connect is your opportunity to get to Compass! You’ll discover the heart and mission of Compass Church, share your personal journey, connect with others over dinner, and express your hopes for becoming a part of our community. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who is new to Compass or ready to get more involved.

MAR 21 - Feed My Starving Children
Friday March 20: 6:00 – 8:00 pm
Saturday March 21: 9:00 – 11:00 am and 12:00 – 2:00 PM
Jackson Civic Center

Compass Church is partnering with New McKendree United Methodist Church, along with 20 other churches and organizations to pack MannaPack meals that will be sent to hungry children in the U.S. and around the world. Volunteers, ages 5 to adults, are needed for 2-hour shifts.
Families with children or youth are encouraged to sign up for the Saturday, Mar. 21, 12:00 – 2:00pm slot and enjoy an ice cream social together at Victoria’s Creamery in Jackson afterwards!
Sign-ups will be done at church on Sundays March 1st or March 8th or may be done online (registration to open soon!) The deadline for partner churches and organizations to sign up is March 8th. The cost of registration and t-shirts will be covered by our Easter Offering this year!

We often get so busy doing, that we forget to look at how far we’ve come, and we have a lot to celebrate from 2025! Come to Celebrate Compass to see how God has lead us through the last year, and how we’re being led into 2026. We’ll take a look at our growth and health as a church, our finances, and how we’ve been living out our mission and vision.
Meat and Drinks will be provided, please bring a side dish or desert to share!
Can’t wait to celebrate this last year with you all!
