Join a Discover Group!
Discover groups consist of 8-10 people who regularly gather to connect with each other, grow spiritually, and deepen their relationship with Jesus. These groups are a part of our Discipleship Pathway and will help us fulfill our vision for Compass:
A worshipping community that is curious about God, growing authentically in our relationship with Jesus, and living lives transformed by the Holy Spirit.
JUN 23-27 - New McKendree Summer Day Camp

New McKendree UMC is hosting a summer day camp at Eagle lake!
All children ages 6-12 are invited to have the best week of their summer at camp! Activities will include bible study, worship, arts & crafts, games, tie dye and much more!
It will be $150 per child. Scholarships are available, inquire with Compass if needed!

JUNE 29 - Street Level Meal Prep

We value serving our local community, which is why we have committed to preparing meals once a month for Street Level’s Meal Train for Homeless Neighbors. Street Level is a local non profit dedicated to helping our unhoused neighbors in Cape Girardeau. A few times a week, street level partners with various organizations and individuals to serve hot meals to over 50 neighbors. If you’d like to participate, join us on the last Tuesday of the month!
And if cooking isn’t your thing, you can always contribute by donating needed items! Check out the needs list below. Items can be brought to service on Sunday and left in the designated bin.

Chicken packets
Tuna packets
Peanut butter crackers
Chips
Granola bars
Pop tarts
Snack bags of cookies
Gatorade
