Start your day with a moment to connect, reflect, and meet with God this Ash Wednesday. Not everyone has time for or is comfortable in a church service, but God can still meet you where you are. Come grab Ashes To Go in our parking lot on your way to start your day!
What is Ash Wednesday?
Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent – a season of reflection, fasting and growth that leads into Easter. On this special day, we reflect on our lives, and our relationship with God. It is a tradition to receive ashes on either your head or one of your hands as a reminder that from dust we came, and to dust we shall return. However, these ashes, given in the shape of the cross, are a reminder that death is not the end, but another step in our journey with God.
